Bolao's 2666: Now with extra pages!
Tue Mar 10 2009
The Guardian reports that several unpublished Roberto Bolao novels—and allegedly a sixth part of the already epic 2666—have now been found in Spain. It's terrific news for those not utterly exhausted by Bolao's lengthy novels (we're not even close). It seems to be an opportune time for publishing the unfinished work of prematurely departed geniuses. Last week's New Yorker ran a part of David Foster Wallace's novel about the nature of boredom. Incomplete at the time of his death, The Pale King will nevertheless be released next year.
