Power is back on at the Bell House, and with it, the opportunity to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The Brooklyn venue hosts an open-mike storytelling event (6–8pm) in its front room. Performers will include Michele Carlo, David Crabb, Killy Mockstar Dwyer—and maybe you. Put your name in the hat when you arrive for a chance to perform for up to five minutes. Proceeds from the pay-what-you-wish admission will go to the American Red Cross. The benefit is followed by the popular Moth StorySLAM series in the back room.
