Has Olympic pride gone too far?

We're halfway through the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and while I’ve seen a total of about ten minutes of the games, some people are borderline obsessive. Today I saw a woman on the 6 covered in commemorative pins, and this little boy shaved his own head! I totally support Olympic-branded soda cans, but this might be too much! Agree?
