One of the greatest perks of working at Time Out is all the excellent schwag we're sent by publicists and publishers. The best are the art books: Finally, I have a decently sized art library at home, a luxury that I couldn't have afforded had I bought all those catalogs at Barnes & Noble. I'm not trying to rub it in—I know that getting free books is a rare, rare privilege. Which is why I'm offering this tip: Next Saturday 19, NADA and Regency Arts Press Ltd. are cohosting an art-book swap on 27th Street, so head over there if you want to increase your collection for cheap (or for free). Bring books to trade, or just a couple bucks: $5 buys you three.
