Last-minute plan: Caligula Maximus at House of Yes
Wed Apr 6 2011
Dig dancing? Togas? Graphic sex and violence? No, we're not talking about that Phi Delt bash back in '03. We're speaking of Caligula Maximus, a self-dubbed "musical disco circus" put on by top-tier promoter the Saint at Large (Black Party) and the high-flying performance troupe Lady Circus. The interactive, standing-room-only spectacle, which follows the infamous ruler's last night of power, kicks off its run tonight at East Williamsburg's House of Yes. Nab $5 off the regular ticket price for this evening's show by entering promo code "CMAX-YES" here. Oh, and donning togas and other era-appropriate garb is strongly encouraged—as is stripping down to nothing at all mid-performance. Seriously. 9pm, doors 8pm; $20, $15 with discount. Through Apr 17.
