On the heels of the news that the NYPD cleared the Occupy Wall Street protesters out of Zuccotti Park under the cover of both physical and metaphorical darkness (3G and Wi-Fi reception was cut from the area, and public transport was made limited), last night's Fucked Up and Titus Andronicus show at Warsaw took on an altogether different tenor. Titus lead singer Patrick Stickles is a vocal supporter of the movement, and used the set as an opportunity to make a few choice political points between his band's blistering punk anthems.

Fucked Up's version of protest, however, was altogether more measured and musical. The Canadian hardcore outfit performed its recent release, David Comes to Life, a concept album detailing failed romance in such a dystopian society that Stickles seemed to believe the Occupy raids portended—in its entirety. Our photographer Loren Wohl was on hand to capture the action.
