Live photos: Jane's Addiction at Terminal 5
Wed Jul 27 2011
Sure, alt-rock veterans Jane's Addiction have been around for a while—for more than 25 years, actually, though in various incarnations. But with a new album set for release in September and an international tour in progress, the provocative quartet is proving itself to be surprisingly durable. Monday's private show at Terminal 5 was even futuristic: Billed as "the first 3-D user-generated concert" (the show will be broadcast on YouTube August 4), the event featured a variety of technological treats. The focus remained on the music, though, as fans enjoyed hits like "Whores," "Been Caught Stealing" and inevitable encore "Jane Says," accompanied by a shower of confetti and doggie balloons. TONY photographer wagz2it was there to catch the action.
