  • "I dressed up as Emma Frost from the X Men, a.k.a. The White Queen. I like her character and how she's sweet but leans toward the dark side... [It] reminds me of myself a bit. Her power is that she's able to read minds and manipulate those she wants to."

  • "I went as Star Sapphire, a.k.a. Carol Ferris, one of the Violet Lantern Corps. I tried to design a more wearable version of her costume, and my mom and I spent 3-4 nights this week making it."

  • "I told myself while watching Thor back in May that I'd be Loki at NYCC. The whole thing was handmade in abut two weeks. The PVC was donated by my seamstress mentor, who also helped with the metallic skirt. It was a bash of several patterns and several sleepless nights. Also, high res reference pics for this were hard to search for until it came out on DVD."

  • "My son dressed as a young Luke Skywalker with his buddy, R2D2 at NYCC Kids Day."
