Hundreds of swimmers, without the benefit of blubber, underfur or guard hairs, nevertheless plunged into the Atlantic Ocean on New Year's Day for the Coney Island Polar Bear Club's annual swim, helping to raise money for Camp Sunshine, a charity that supports children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
While you may have seen pictures already, you won't have seen pictures taken in the sea. TONY photographer Robbie Bailey, one half of Bailey Photography, got wet so you didn't have to. Consider thanking her with a donation to Camp Sunshine at freezinforareason.com.
