This week's sex events
Thu Apr 29 2010
UCB Theater will feature Amy Heidt: Dominate Yourself (8pm, $5), a one-woman comedy act about life after latex and harnesses; Heidt spins the tale of an ex-dominatrix turned self-help guru.
K&M Bar plays host for Kong Magazine's first-issue release party (7pm, free). The newcomer comedy and sex publication aimed toward women teams up with Shag for a night of delightfully kinky activities; a game of Pin the Dong on the Kong, a no-hands Twinkie-eating contest and a Hula-hoop performance will be paired with dollar shots and live music.
Come scantily clad in an all-white ensemble, then take everything off when the clock strikes 12:30am at OneLegUpNYC's White Soiree and Masquerade ($50--$350). All swingin' guests must be registered Active Membership Plan members—meaning you'll have to pay a fee and pass OLU's screening process. The party, an Eat-In event, is open to couples and single women only.
The Babeland Brunch series continues with Bottoms Up at Babeland Brooklyn (12pm, free); select sex educators will dole out tips on anal lubrication and partner communication while you chow down on free pastries from Blue Sky Bakery.
Forget about flowers—say it with a selection of erotic vocab words instead. At Shag's Whisper in My Ear: The Art of Talking Dirty (6pm, $35) workshop, you'll learn how to give lengthy, detailed descriptions when it comes to expressing exactly what you want in the sack—minus the blushing.—Shayna Courtney
