The only pho options here are traditional—beef, beef and beef—but the meat is prepared in more ways than you knew possible (brisket, flank, meatball, tendon...). And the broth may be a bit weak, but the accompaniments (holy basil, bean sprouts, lime wedges and hot chili sauce) are authentic. Consider straying from an all-pho meal with the tom bo nuong vi, a grill-it-yourself Vietnamese fajita, assembled with meat, lettuce, mint, coriander, bean sprouts and rice wrappers. The restaurant claims to be Senator (and former POW) John McCain’s favorite New York eatery.
