Bistro Lamazou (CLOSED)

The husband-and-wife owners of the beloved Kips Bay cheese shop Lamazou are behind this Mediterranean bistro down the street. The 120-seat restaurant, featuring orange chandeliers and red walls, has a devoted cheese bar offering international selections from the owners' retail store. Expect Southern European–influenced dishes like Berber couscous with lamb and vegetables, or pork tenderloin with prosciutto, Gruyère and port wine sauce.
