Nusara Thai Kitchen
Photograph: Jakob N. LaymanPad cha at Nusara Thai KitchenThe palate-spanking seafood stir-fry at this family-run Thai joint lives up to its nickname: "hell sauce." A pile of fresh bird's-eye chilies---the tiny, but seriously smokin' Southeast Asian peppers---are sauted with garlic

Time Out says

Since the chefs at this polished, contemporary eatery don’t dull their food for western palates, only request “Thai spicy” dishes with plenty of water on hand. Larb (minced chicken or pork salad) and Som Tum Thai Style (papaya salad) sing with the taste of fresh chilies and vegetables. Marinated then fried, the “Sun Soaked Pork Strips” are served with a crimson pepper sauce and would make an amazing bar snack. When in season, Nusara stocks fresh mangoes near the register. They’re not solely decorative—layered with crisped coconut, Nusara’s mango sticky rice is a luscious gustatory finale.
