Description

Giving new meaning to the term fast food, this popular Flatbush destination offers the best of T&T’s portable cuisine. An array of breads, pastries and dried-fruit candies fill the counter display, but crowds line up for something else: the shack’s signature on-the-go dish, bulging roti wraps, the tastiest of which are filled with either stewed chicken or shrimp with channa, boiled chickpeas in a flavorful gravy. Those with bigger appetites and time to spare can grab a seat in the dining room, chow down on rice, peas and curried goat, and sway to the soca riddims on the stereo.
