Brick walls, dark wood and soaring ceilings make for sexy environs at Son Cubano’s sister restaurant in Tribeca. Eschew larger plates and go straight to the extensive list of Spanish tapas: chewy snails in sherry, a firm and pleasingly salty tortilla española (potato omelette) or creamy ham croquettes. There’s no better place to graze than at the long wooden bar, which welcomes a thirsty, mojito-downing after-work crowd. Join them Tuesday through Saturday nights, when live Latin bands perk up the joint.
