Time Out says

It’s all cheeks and jowls at Ivo & Lulu, both in terms of the seating arrangement (tight) and the food (meaty). While you won’t find pork face per se at this homey French-Caribbean eatery, where the French-accented servers treat you like guests in their own cramped apartment, you will choose from a wide range of flesh. Gamey boar sausages, served atop a syrupy blueberry sauce, are sinus-clearingly spicy; a terrine de venison delivers a trio of funky flavors with its trimmings of truffle oil and camembert. If you’re plant-inclined, don’t get your hopes up: A rosemary sprig is the sole swathe of green to grace plates. So, forgo healthfulness altogether and spring for one of the gloriously decadent desserts—like a blissful condensed-milk–based coconut flan.
