Picks: "If it's after the after-party and you need a proper meal, go to Blue Ribbon (97 Sullivan St between Prince and Spring Sts, 212-274-0404; daily 4pm--4am). Where else can you get bone marrow ($16.75) and a perfect medium-rare New York strip ($36) at 3am?"

Picks: "Stanton Social (99 Stanton St between Ludlow and Orchard Sts, 212-995-0099; Mon--Fri 5pm--1am; Sat 11:30am--4pm, 5pm--1am; Sun 11:30am--4pm, 5--11pm) is a ridiculously satisfying bite after a long evening's entertaining. Great service, late hours and a diverse menu. Nothing is less than excellent, but, oh, the beef Wellington ($22). It's basically 10,000 gravied, succulent happy thoughts wrapped in a sex pastry, and the best thing on any menu anywhere."

Occupation: Chef-owner, the Dutch and Locanda Verde
Picks: "For me, it's got to be Gahm Mi Oak (43 W 32nd St between Fifth Ave and Broadway, 212-695-4113; daily 24hrs) in midtown for some oxtail soup ($13.95). Can't beat it late at night."

Occupation: Burlesque dancer
Picks: "After a night of dancing, one of my favorite places to go is Oasis (161 North 7th St between Bedford and Driggs Aves, Williamsburg, Brooklyn; 718-218-7607; daily noon--3am) for their $3 falafel sandwiches. For a place with a little more ambience, I love Henry Public (329 Henry St between Atlantic Ave and Pacific St, Cobble Hill, Brooklyn; 718-852-8630; Mon--Thu 5pm--2am, Fri 5pm--4am, Sat 11am--4am, Sun 11am--2am). They have this delicious mac and cheese ($14) served in a small cast-iron skillet, with ample amounts of cheese and an egg baked in the center. [I get it with] a side of brussels sprouts ($8) and one of their signature cocktails—I adore the Kings County Sour ($11)."

Occupation: Travel Channel host, Bizarre Foods America
Picks: "Late-night food means big flavors and bold, fresh textures—most often I turn to Kang Suh (1250 Broadway between 31st and 32nd Sts, 212-564-6845; daily 24hrs) in Koreatown. It's been around for 30 years, the barbecue and banchan are very good, the noodles and soups are well made, and if you skip the first-floor sushi bar and head upstairs, you and your pals can stuff yourselves silly on bulgogi ($24.99) until dawn comes up."

Occupation: Nightlife vets; 1Oak, the Box, Miss Lily's
Picks: "One of our favorite late-night spots is Mott Corner (58 Kenmare St between Mott and Mulberry Sts, 212-431-1192; daily 24hrs). Late at night or early in the morning we stop in for the basics: eggs ($3 for two) sunny-side up with Tabasco or a classic BLT ($4). Best deli in town."

Occupation: Rapper
Picks: "After a night in the studio, I'll go to Bubby's (120 Hudson St at North Moore St, 212-219-0666; daily 24hrs [closed Mon 11pm--Tue 7am]) in Tribeca to get a quick bite. I like the location a lot because it's really low-key and they have great food. The late-night menu is like homemade diner food—the nachos ($9) are great, you can order breakfast, and they have fresh pie, which is actually pretty amazing. Their lemonade ($6) is also homemade and one of the best [versions] in the city."
Derek Ferguson

Occupation: Co-owner, Santos Party House
Picks: "Maybe this is cheating because it's right around the corner from my crib, but when I want to unwind, Bar Veloce (175 Second Ave between 11th and 12th Sts, 212-260-3200; daily 8am--3am) is my spot. Excellent wine and delectable little snacks, like the prosciutto di Parma panini ($12), that hit the spot when you want to nosh but don't want to eat too much before going to bed. The staff's crisp attire and attention to detail seal the deal."

Occupation: Chanteuse about town
Picks: "I don't like to take chances at 4am on an empty stomach after singing and hosting my face off for four hours, so I stick with a classic two slices of pepperoni pizza ($2.50) and a large soda ($2) from Karavas Pizza 'N' Pita (108 Seventh Ave South at Christopher St, 212-807-0705; Daily 11am--4am). Low-key, greasy food, open [late]: the perfect hangover-prevention kit."

Picks: "My late-night local is South Brooklyn Pizza (122 First Ave between St. Marks Pl and E 7th St, 212-533-2879; daily 11am--5am). I get a slice or two of their superb Margherita ($4) to soak up the damage [from drinking] at Bua."
