This is a fine-tuned, reliable operation, with assured service and a serious wine list. Portions are small and exquisite: A Louisiana-style appetizer of shrimp and gnocchi, embellished with chanterelles, arugula and pecorino romano, achieves the perfect balance of rich and delicate flavors. An entrée of pompano, trussed up in coconut cilantro curry over baby bok choy, was dizzyingly tasty. For dessert, a plate of sorbets in a gallery of colors softens the shock of the bill.
