This premium frozen-treats shop, from husband-and-wife owners Jonathan and Suzie Leeds, is proof that anything, even the lowly Italian ice, can be made into an art form. Among their 200 rotating flavors are haunting varieties such as toasty hazelnut, made from imported Italian nut paste, stippled with chocolate chips, and a refreshing basil-mango, their best-seller. Pure ingredients, inventive flavors, fresh batches…what more could one want from an ice? Bonus: NYC Icy delivers within Brooklyn and in parts of Manhattan, and will ship any flavor across the country.
