The team behind Osteria Laguna (and siblings Osteria al Doge and Osteria Stella) has a winning formula for upscale Italian dining. The spacious, sunflower-yellow space feels warm, even though it’s surrounded by skyscrapers and frequented by the business-casual set. The food, served on hand-painted dinnerware, is reliably tasty. Power lunchers will enjoy baby spinach dressed in red-wine vinaigrette and topped with walnut-crusted goat cheese, as well as heartier dishes like veal scaloppine and spaghetti tossed with lump crabmeat, tomato and basil.
