    Description
Former wd-50 pastry chef Sam Mason brings his brand of molecular gastronomy to a loungey restaurant and subterranean bar in Soho. Mixologist Eben Freeman’s cocktail menu managed to outshine the rather interesting food. We particularly enjoyed the excellent violet fizz (a frothy mix of gin, citrus, cream, egg whites and violet liqueur). The experimental dishes wavered between successful and questionable. Pork belly married well with rich butterscotch-infused white miso, but we could have done without the overly unctuous foie gras–and peanut-butter pâté.

This is possibly the rudest place I have been to in the 7 years I lived in NYC. The host was pretentious, and the Manager yelled at us to get out and threatened to call the police on us. So what did we do????? We should up for our friend's bday party only to be disappointed. They refused to provide any service and gave us the worst attitude. Who ever is associated with this establishment should be completely embarrased.
