Potted trees, mosaics, pillows and a fountain: It’s the pretty Disney version of a Moroccan restaurant. The looks, however, are ahead of the hit-and-miss food. Thick Moroccan bread was perfect for sopping up a tangy eggplant-and-tomato puree, and a classic b’steeya with chicken and almonds was nicely sweet. But a dish of phyllo cigars stuffed with lamb was greasy, whole-wheat couscous with vegetables was bland, and a plate of Moroccan pastries was dry. Sam’s Couscous Morocco to Go (in the front area) is a cheaper option for those who don’t need the full treatment.
