Description
This homey canteen for the Marc Jacobs–wearing set tries to pick up where the late, lamented Grange Hall left off. The pricey but successful menu from chef Harold Moore (Montrachet) includes lobster Newburgpoached tail and claw meat atop an herbaceous bisqueand handmade
tortelloni that balances spiced sweet-potato filling with hazelnuts, a brown butter sauce and pomegranate seeds. Desserts by Josue Ramos outshine the savories: See the silky peanut-butter mousse with celery sorbet and shaved celery salad. Not exactly everyday fare, but fittingly luxe by new neighborhood standards.
