The Finishing Bar by Fox & Jane

Owner Lorean Cairns has expanded Fox & Jane, the hair salon she opened in July 2011, to include this beauty annex, where clients can get the finishing touches for their looks after getting a chop. The consummate pros here don’t do hair, but they offer makeup applications ($65–$95) using Eddie Funkhouser Studio Cosmetics, basic ($12–$25) and UV gel manicures ($80–$100), pedicures ($12–$35) and waxing ($13–$50). They can even tint your lashes ($10–$25) for extra oomph. Customers receive a gratis glass of wine, champagne, herbal tea or Nespresso coffee, but the staff welcomes clients to pop in for a drink even if they’re not getting serviced. The next time you’re in need of a quick pick-me-up, try the spa manicure ($25), which includes an exfoliating hand treatment, a hydrating mask and a massage.
