Although designer Stacey Bendet’s classic girly garb can be found in approximately 500 stores worldwide, there’s nothing quite like entering one of her funky, energetic boutiques. Her second NYC spot has a similar motif to the Midtown West location with graphic-print floor-to-ceiling curtains and acid-yellow-, pink- and berry-painted midcentury furniture. The dressing rooms feature inspiration boards with photos, fabric swatches and more, modeled after the ones Bendet and her design team use. The collections include party clothes, basics and work wear, plus a whole section devoted to footwear, like polka-dot platform sandals ($245). Highlights include alice + olivia belted striped maxidresses ($440), colorful one-shoulder wrap frocks ($440) and graphic belted peplum tees ($220). Also on hand are vintage pieces that inspire the designer, such as Whiting & Davis beaded clutches ($128–$148) and braided belts from the 1970s ($75–$95).
