The chic space features a large chandelier, deep-magenta walls with black-and-gold fixtures, and metallic-brocade-wallpapered dressing rooms. Expect to learn all about your auxiliary mammary glands (a.k.a. armpit fat) and the shape of your breasts from the no-nonsense fit specialists—many of whom have been in the intimates business for more than ten years. Since not everyone fits into off-the-rack sizes, Bradelis offers gratis on-the-spot alterations, so you’ll leave with the most comfortable underpinnings possible. While prices are somewhat steep—bras average $60 to $80—it’s worth the dough, since the shop offers free alterations for the entire life of your purchase. Find bottoms for your new bra, such as frilly floral undies ($36) and demure bow bikini bottoms ($32), or look sexy even if you’re sleeping alone in strappy lace chemises ($62) with matching panties ($26).
