Time Out says

Just three years after opening his dapper-menswear store, designer Robert James moved his retail operation next door to a massive three-story boutique. The shop’s interior is constructed from upcycled barn wood and other salvaged materials from local farms and businesses. The high-ceiling ground-floor boutique showcases James’s simple but stylish line of men’s trousers ($175–$328), casual and dress shirts ($168–$195), and outerwear ($328–$950) made in New York City from eco-friendly fabrics such as hemp and organic cotton. For a taste of old-world craftsmanship, head to the private fitting area on the second level, where an on-site tailor makes bespoke suits ($1,200–$1,700) and provides complimentary alterations for off-the-rack purchases, such as striped twill pants ($175) and 1960s-style cotton long-sleeved dress shirts ($168). The top floor design studio serves as a creative hub where James hosts friends for private art exhibits and concerts.
