Christopher Drummond of Christopher Drummond Beauty (christopherdrummond.com)

Who he is: Fashion-model-turned-aesthetician Christopher Drummond started his cosmetics company in 2007 because he couldn't find the right colors to match his biracial complexion. Drummond is also a leader in application education: He offers recurring local workshops around the city (he recently held one at the Spa at Andaz Wall Street) and has created approximately 85 different YouTube videos and about 800 blog posts providing insider techniques and tips.

About the line: Drummond doesn't leave his savvy customers guessing what is in his natural cosmetics collection. Instead, he prints every ingredient (like organic coconut oil, pomegranate-seed extract and aloe-leaf gel) on the packages and overtly boasts the information on his website. The understated hues, such as navy eyeliner ($23), gold eye shadow ($18) and creamy berry lip stains ($23), would appeal to Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown fans seeking a more natural option. There's also a travel kit of products for men ($75) that includes two powders, a bronzer and a face serum ($75).

Buy it here: Spa at Andaz Wall Street (75 Wall St at Water St; 212-590-1234, hyatt.com). Or use the code "TONY11" while shopping online at christopherdrummond.com to receive 20 percent off all purchases through July 10.
