Time Out says

Let’s face it: New Yorkers could use a little more carpe diem in their bustling lives. Luckily, Scandinavian jewelry designer Efva Attling has opened her first U.S. boutique in the Meatpacking District. Attling’s feel-good line is the epitome of statement jewelry—several of her pieces are embellished with inspirational quotes, including her silver "Carpe Diem" bracelets ($135), designed to remind people to slow down and appreciate the day, as well as her bracelets emblazoned with “Pencez de Moy” ($95), which translates to “think of me” (for those who don’t speak 13th-century French). If you’re looking for more reticent pieces, hearts will melt over her delicate butterfly drop earrings ($230). For men who aren’t afraid to accessorize, leather braided bracelets ($230) and silver-chain necklaces ($400) are the perfect trimmings to polish off their duds. Reminiscent of Attling’s heartfelt jewelry, her New York boutique is also imbued with love and good vibes. Engaged couples are encouraged to cozy up on the purple love seat while they browse an elegant display of rings ($1,000–$14,000) for their special day.
