Northern Grade NYC x GQ

Northern Grade NYC x GQ

This traveling pop-up bazaar, featuring American-manufactured men’s goods from 25 to 30 indie brands, is finally making its way to the East Coast (previous markets were held in San Francisco, Nashville and Chicago). For their first Brooklyn assembly, Minnesota cofounders—and designers of outerwear label Pierrepont Hicks (pierreponthicks.com)—Kat and Mac McMillan are hooking up with GQ to add a dash of cool-guy savvy. Expect a craft cocktail bar by Vinegar Hill House and complimentary grooming services by Fellow Barber. Minneapolis DJ Jonathan Ackerman will be spinning beats as shoppers browse duds from designers such as Almond Surfboards & Designs, Taylor Stitch, and Rancourt & Co. • 718-666-3049, northerngrade.com. Noon–7pm.

Pier Antique Show

Pier Antique Show

Nearly 500 dealers will be in attendance at this comprehensive vintage show, housed inside Pier 94. Browse 133,000 square feet of home goods, baubles and fashion from the 18th century through the ’80s. Don’t miss Fashion Alley, featuring 40 sellers hawking unique clothing and accessories from the past. Prices are negotiable, so stop by David Surgan for a Heintz Art Metal Shop table lamp or visit Koblenz & Co. to snag Isabel Canovas ’80s African-mask brass earrings ($595). Purchase tickets online to receive $5 off admission price (normally $20), valid for both days of the event (use code “TONY14”). • 239-732-6642, pierantiqueshow.com. 10am–6pm.
