Time Out says

This Chicago-based floor-covering company, appropriately named Flor, debuts its flagship store in NYC. At the brand’s third location in the U.S., score eco-friendly modular 20-inch carpet squares in an endless variety of colors, textures and styles that allows folks with an eye for design to custom-create configurations for wall-to-wall covers, rugs and runners. Energy-efficient lighting illuminates the large, white-walled, bi-level space and reflects the brand’s commitment to sustainability. Walking around the shop will feel like stepping into a Flor catalogue with Ikea-like vignettes set up as mock living spaces, complete with samples from the latest collections. Rub your feet against thick, supersoft natural-wool blocks ($21 each), ribbed squares ($21 each) and dense wool tiles with beveled edges ($40 each). Or go for the best-sellers, such as skinny striped squares ($16) and zebra-print styles ($13).
