New York City is a place where you can get just about anything delivered…for a price. But Google is changing that. For the next six months, at least.
The company's brand-new shopping delivery service, Google Shopping Express, gives Manhattanites a new excuse for never having to leave their apartments. Whether you're in need of great skin care from L'Occitane, fruits and veggies from Fairway Market, or some toiletries from Target, Google Shopping Express has you covered with same-day delivery service. The best part? It's free for the next six months. (You'll even get a free $10 spending credit for your first purchase at google.com/express.)
Shoppers in Queens and Brooklyn will have to wait a month or two before the service is available in their boroughs. But folks in Manhattan should maybe wait a day or two before placing an order. Yesterday's first day of service was so popular that delivery times were delayed. You get what you pay for, right?
