The brand was founded in 1995 by Mario Moretti Polegato after he cut holes in his shoes to cool down his feet while jogging in Nevada. The store features a clean, preppy aesthetic, with white walls and unfinished-wood shelves. Women can slip their tootsies into suede lace-up boots ($200), distressed oxfords ($180) and zip-up heels ($165). Dudes can nab waterproof motorcycle boots ($200), leather brogues ($180) and boots with elastic details ($180). Although Geox is primarily known for its footwear, its clothing is worth checking out, too. Apparel highlights include bright mohair sweaters ($150) and light down jackets ($300) for gals, and button-down cotton shirts ($75) and wool sweaters ($90) for men.
