Just like their first store in Switzerland, Paul and Sophie Yanacopoulos-Gross’s shop in Brooklyn Heights carries the stark, minimalist furniture (like a white-lacquer trestle table, for instance) designed by the couple. But HomeStories also features items like lighting, rugs, baskets, bed linens and glassware—all presented by color (mostly earth tones) instead of function. Like the soothing vibe here? The store plans to offer home-styling services soon.
