Time Out says

If your plain white lamp shade is boring you to tears, head to this lighting emporium to create a customized topper of your own. Owners Mark Candido and Ronald Scinto own two home stores in Connecticut, but this is their first NYC shop. Stop by the French-inspired boutique, decked out in leopard-print carpets and colorful curtains, to commission a custom shade from either your own fabric or imported European ones sold in store ($100–$1,500). Ready-made options include rawhide lamp shades ($125–$400), miniature raffia styles ($35) and fuzzy zebra-print versions ($235). One side of the space features an old-school workshop, where you can get any lamp rewired or repaired ($45–$500), and pick up fixtures such as vintage-inspired filament lightbulbs ($10).
