Nestled between Carnegie Hall and Lincoln center, Klavierhaus is a haven for pianists. They're the only store in the Northeast that has Fazioli pianos, which we hear are replacing Steinway as the concert standard. They carry other names too, along with a few special 19-century antique models, embellished with gold leaf and the like. The store also has a concert space in the back for frequent recitals.
