Travel in style, thanks to the Transience pop-up shop opening tomorrow, Thursday, June 19 in Noho. The temporary store will feature the production setup of luxury handbags and accessories, which are entirely made in NYC by local seamstresses. Shop the FW14 collection featuring fine leather goods with a unique yet simplistic silhouette. Look out for a series of bags ($750–$1,650), wallets ($155–$295), Dopp kits ($175)and tech accessories ($255–$425) as well as a sneak peek of the SS15 collection. Or, choose from an array of leathers to create your own bespoke, one-of-a-kind accessory—just in case you wanted to play fashion designer for a day. Anything ordered in-store will be constructed in-shop where customers can watch the entire creation process take place. 355A Bowery between 3rd and 4th Sts. Daily 11am–7pm. Through June 29.
Everlane launched a transparent pop-up shop earlier this week, which aims to change the markup madness of retail. The Soho outpost of this radical and ethically sound brand features ready-to-wear collections and accessories for men and women accompanied by a tag describing the origin and cost story for every article and accessory for takeaway purchase. Ladies can browse the collection of cotton tees ($15), denim dresses ($65) and sweaters ($30–$120) while men scope out swim trunks ($48), button-downs ($40–$55) and jackets ($68–$98). Not only will there be great shopping, but the pop-up will host a lineup of events from grilling demos, photography workshops, cocktail mixers and more with the help of event partners Bon Appétit, Good Eggs, Baz Bagel and Edible Schoolyard NYC to name a few. 199 Lafayette St between Broome and Kenmare Sts. Daily 11am–6pm. Through June 28.
