For one-of-a-kind, handmade lighting ($4–$1,500) imported directly from Istanbul, visit Melissa Benovic and fiancé Ilker Arslan’s first NYC store. The couple was inspired by the lamp shops in the Grand Bazaar—a giant market in Turkey with more than 3,000 vendors. Aiming to re-create that experience, they’ve filled the brick-walled space to the brim with lamps of all different colors and sizes. Nab 26-inch multicolored floor lights ($179) for your pad, or 14-inch beaded desk styles ($55) to spruce up your office. Hanging mosaic candle holders ($34) and Bohemian crystal lamps ($54) make for unique, affordable gifts.
