Most stylish New Yorkers: Richie Rich
The eternal club kid demonstrates his love for glitter and makeup; we show you how to cop his wild style.

In an act of spontaneity, Rich grabbed this tinsel heart, which he found lying around near the set during this photo shoot. "I got inspired," he explains. "I want to share my love."

Mix-and-match moodness is the phrase Rich uses to describe this vintage Vivienne Westwood tee "from her punk days," shrunken vest by Swedish designer Islaet (islaet.dk) and Warhol for Levi's jeans. "I love zippers!" he exclaims.

"I wear all types of makeup---I love glitter," says Rich, who holds up a Chanel compact of translucent powder and sports MAC lipgloss in Heatherette (part of a limited-edition collaboration he did with the beauty brand). "Kabuki (kabukimagic.com) was a club kid with me; he is my favorite makeup artist."

Rich spray-painted a pair of childhood Vans for added flair. "I grew up in California wearing them," he recalls. "Now I wear them with the laces all mixed up."

"Mickey madness," declares Rich, referring to his Mickey Mouse tee from Disney World, which he ripped to create a deeper neckline. He wears it underneath a Rick Ozbek faux-fur vest and with Dots jeans. "They are very '80s to me," he reflects of his pants.

This striped railroad cap comes from Italy and was a gift from a friend, while the Ray-Ban glasses are loaners from the King Collective's Andy Wyss. "He works with me at our showroom and I borrow them for shoots," explains Rich.

Favorite spring trends: "I am still loving fun long, flowy scarves. I am feeling platform sandals, too."
