The Lower East Side turned into a giant outdoor art gallery this weekend, as the New Museum's Festival of Ideas for the New City descended on the Bowery. Dozens of culture-makers—including the Lower Eastside Girls Club, who debuted a towering GirlZilla, and guerilla crochet artist Olek—brought art projects to the area surrounding the New Museum; click through to see more of the quirky displays.
