Like a mash-up of Duane Reade and Bed Bath & Beyond, this catchall emporium stocks essentials like toilet paper, cleaning supplies and Amy’s frozen meals, but if you look closer, there are dozens of quirky-cool items to be found at seriously low prices. The green-and-white color palette is as bright and cheery as the sales associates who actually greet customers at the door. After you pick up your prescription, grab some goods in the large beauty section, including Bio Swiss exfoliating facial sponges (three for $1), EcoTools makeup brushes ($5–$15) and Alba body lotions and scrubs ($11–$17). If you’re planning a party, host it with Hampton Forge six-bottle wine racks ($12) and CHH Games mini-pool tabletop games ($30). Those who recently moved to a new pad can snatch Cobble Hill New York floral sheet sets ($15–$21), Sunbeam toaster ovens ($30) and bamboo folding dish racks ($13). The electronics aisle carries sleek, colorful iPhone, BlackBerry and iPad cases ($4–$10) and PixelModa rubber snap watches ($15–$25). And we can’t fail to mention the Snuggie beach towels ($12), which make fun, amusing gifts.
