1 Marmalade Vintage pop-up at TG-170 We can breathe a huge sigh of relief since our favorite Lower East Side vintage shop is back (well, through October 1). Marmalade Vintage, which closed in late July, is setting up a shop-within-a-shop at TG-170, a boutique that sells stock from designers like Mischen, Lauren Moffatt, and Sunshine and Shadow. In addition to these brand-new indie threads, you can score preloved duds sourced by Marmalade’s owner, Hannah Kurland. 2 Inven.tory This indie outlet, which caters to the ultrahip downtown set looking for cheap thrills, is plummeting its already-low prices. 12 The Walking Exhibition You might spot the next crop of It fashion designers at the Walking Exhibition, a runway event hosted by nonprofit organization You Live and You Learn. For $40, you can see the creations of five under-the-radar designers from San Francisco, New York and Paris.
