This put-together brand has long been a staple for the city’s young professionals, and it doubled its New York retail presence with three new stores. All three locations are outfitted with black concrete floors, gray walls and wood details, and carry classic pieces like slim-cut velvet blazers ($445) and sheer front-pleat blouses ($275). Also look for its edgier offshoot, Theyskens Theory, which is designed by Olivier Theyskens and features printed organza miniskirts ($495) and belted trench coats ($795). The flagship location on the Upper East Side also houses Theory’s men’s collection, including striped button-down shirts ($185) and ribbed pullover sweaters ($165).
