The common refrain upon telling a vintage-sifting connoisseur you’re going to the Hamptons to hunt for cheap throwbacks is, “Go home, you’re drunk.” But Unk & Wil is the same as your favorite budget-friendly thrift shop—it’s just oddly placed in a luxe beach town. The temporary joint’s (it closes after Labor Day) decor features tie-dyed rugs and leather reclining chairs on which you could lay in a blissful sleep after working out your wallet on Levi denim jackets ($50 and up) from the ’70s through the ’90s, ’60s Hawaiian shirts ($35 to $45) and retro hats ($15 or two for $20).
