About Make Music New York
Make Music New York is a live, free musical celebration taking place across the city on the first day of summer, Saturday, June 21, 2008. For one day, public spaces throughout the five boroughs—sidewalks, parks, community gardens and more—will become impromptu musical stages, dance floors, and social meeting points.
