Brought to you by Bowery Presents, the coming weeks are filled with exciting shows featuring the likes of Amanda Palmer (11/21), Dr. Dog (12/2), Grace Potter and the Nocturnals (12/5), Nada Surf (12/7) and more!

Rhythm of the “Night”

Join the Chamber Music Society for “Night Fantasies”!

Enjoy four evenings with the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (CMS) as it presents the “Night Fantasies” concerts November 20 through 23. Programmed by Klaus Lauer, this performance marks the first time “Fantasies” will be heard outside of Badenweiler, Germany. Inspired by the German musiktage—literally, “music days”—CMS offers programs curated to provide listeners with a comprehensive perspective on the art of chamber music.

One lucky grand-prize winner will receive:

  • Two tickets to all four “Night Fantasies” concerts at The New York Society for Ethical Culture (2 W 64th St at Central Park West).

Heed the call of extraordinary Panamanian pianist and composer Danilo Perez on November 21 and 22 at the Allen Room (Broadway at 60th St). Perez plays from his acclaimed album Panamonk. He’ll showcase Thelonious Monk favorites, including “’Round Midnight,” “Think of One” and “Bright Mississippi,” blending Afro-Cuban rhythms and folkloric sounds with the intricate rhythms and originality of Monk’s music.
