DIY sale in Midtown!
“In 2007, I was living in a condo in Murray Hill, and I sold it myself. I had actually purchased it myself in the summer of 2004 via Craigslist—it’s bizarre that the largest transactions of my life were done via Cragislist. As a lawyer, all you have to do to get your broker’s license is fill out a form and pay a fee, so I did that. Brokers are full of it! Now we’re selling our two-bedroom for $1.19 million. It’s in Bridge Tower Place on East 60th Street, an upscale kind of building. We’re putting it on the market for the price we bought it. We hardwired all the electronics to the wall, there’s custom lighting and new crown molding, we reworked the closets, and we finished the second bedroom with French doors.”—Eric Yecies, patent litigation attorney, Upper East Side
