The neighborhood: "I'm coming off living on Central Park West. And as exclusive as that might sound, it was difficult. I would have to go out of my way to get to a store. I would need a lightbulb in my apartment for a week because I wouldn't find my way past the Duane Reade. I don't have that issue now because there are stores in every direction. Yet it's so quiet in the apartment. It's still in a very residential community."
The best thing about my place: "When you walk in, it's got a very open feel. It's a couple of hundred square feet smaller [than my last one], but it doesn't feel that way. There's a good living-room area, a work area, a dining-room area, which is in the alcove, and four full closets."
The furniture: "I got someone to fix my parents' old dining-room set for 100 bucks. I've never had one in the city, so I look over at it and I'm like, Wow, I kind of feel like a grown-up."
