The following venues are expected to open by June 15. Always call ahead, as openings can be delayed.

Smashburger Burger obsessives have a fresh joint to put on their to-do list: This cultish Denver-based chain delivers its signature smashed specimens at its first New York City location, in Fort Greene, opening on June 9. Here, fresh, all-Angus beef patties are flattened and seared on the grill—a technique prized by patty aficionados for producing a crunchy crust—and then stuffed into butter-toasted buns. Pair your smashed sammie with toppings like applewood-smoked bacon, fried eggs or thin crispy onions, and sides including fries spruced up with olive oil, rosemary and garlic. Unique to this location is a specialty Brooklyn Burger, which is crowned with grilled pastrami, Swiss cheese, pickles, onion and yellow mustard, and sandwiched in a toasted pretzel. 80 DeKalb Ave between Hudson Ave and Rockwell Pl, Fort Greene, Brooklyn (718-222-1101)

Blueprint The team behind Long Tan has converted the former Thai-restaurant space into a cocktail bar, now decorated with mahogany paneling and Italian granite tables. When it opens on June 15, Park Slopers can sip on one of nine creative cocktails, including the Swedish Monk (gin, pear cider, chartreuse) and the High and Dry (rye whiskey, anise bitters, vermouth, orange twist). Soak up all the booze with a few small plates, including selections of meat and cheese, potpies and rillettes. 196 Fifth Ave between Berkeley and Union Sts, Park Slope, Brooklyn (718-622-6644)

Casa Nonna This spin-off of a popular Washington, D.C., trattoria, from the BLT restaurant group, will bring rustic Italian to Hell's Kitchen on June 8. Chef David Amorelli (davidburke & donatella) dispatches Northern Italian plates from an open kitchen. Settle into the main dining room—featuring brown leather banquettes, antique mirrors and wine-crate tables—for traditional dishes, such as a wood-fired Margherita pizza, porchetta al forno (suckling pig with mustard greens), and orecchiette with broccoli rabe and fennel sausage. 310 W 38th St between Eighth and Ninth Aves (212-736-3000)

Crudo Vineria Con Cucina True to its name, this Southern Italian restaurant, set to debut on June 15, features raw seafood platters, plus a range of coastal entres, like rigatoni pasta with swordfish, Cerignola olives, saffron and pistachios; and a barley and tuna salad with carrots, mushrooms and zucchini. The 100-bottle wine list also focuses on the country's Southern region, while the beer selection offers international standards, like Heineken. The 40-seat space features exposed-brick walls with cherry-wood wainscotting and a white-marble-topped raw bar. 178 Mulberry St at Broome St (646-559-0640)

Fatty Snack Southeast Asian booster chef Zak Pelaccio (Fatty Crab, Fatty 'Cue) turns his attentions to sweets with this stand—his second in Battery Park. Grab a shaved ice, soft-serve ice cream (available in rotating flavors like vanilla--bay leaf, cardamom and ginger) or cookie, such as the Fatty Turtle, which is studded with toffee, almonds, pecans and chocolate. The stall also serves smoked-chicken salad and tuna sandwiches, but if you're hankering for more savory options, visit Pelaccio's Fatty 'Cue Kiosk, on the other side of the Battery Park Bosque. This venue will debut on June 6. The Battery Bosque, Battery Park, State St (fatty-snack.com)

Fatty 'Cue Kiosk Zak Pelaccio opened the first outpost of his Food & Drink Award--winning Williamsburg joint in Battery Park on June 2. The abbreviated Southeast Asian--inflected barbecue menu includes a house-made pork Fatty Dog with pickled slaw, a grass-fed-beef Johnson Burger slathered with chili mayo, and a beef brisket sandwich served with chili jam, mayo, red onion and cheddar in a baguette. GO Burger This 20-seat burger joint, the chainlet's fourth location, serves an abbreviated menu of Black Angus beef patties and kobe hot dogs. It is set to open on June 8. 310 W 38th St between Eighth and Ninth Aves (212-290-8000)

Tremont Chef Tim Bando, an import from the Hamptons' Meeting House in Amagansett, NY, serves simple New American fare in this airy West Village restaurant, which will open on June 9. Find refined dishes, such as poached lobster, grilled sardines and roasted beef rib chop. The 45-seat corner space is outfitted with white-painted wood paneling, dark-wood floors and antique pendant lights. 51 Bank St at W 4th St (212-488-1019)
