Restaurant Week starts up again today, but it lasts, illogically, for a fortnight, so consider taking a rain check and take a tour of the Captain Lawrence Brewery instead.

New York's semiannual nod to the hungry skinflint is back, this time with a lineup of more than 250 eateries. Newcomers like 10 Downing and DBGB will join staples such as Nobu in their three-course lunch and dinner prix-fixe offers ($24.07 and $35, respectively). Captain Lawrence brewery tour
You were born to drink—now see how the drink is born at this brewery tour and tasting. The expedition starts at Pony Bar with free coffee and bagels; at 12:30pm the bus leaves for Pleasantville, New York, where Captain Lawrence brewmaster Scott Vaccaro will guide the group though the brewery and pour samples.
